When in Savannah

When you’re in Savannah, spend your days walking through the parks and admiring the historic homes; stop for a bite to eat—something with seafood; catch the sights along the Savannah River; and have a glorious dinner that leads to an unplanned proposal of forever… at least, that’s what TK and I did.

Together, we spent a weekend away and stumbled into the rest of our lives over a delicious meal and an evening walk through Forsyth Park. It’s a trip that will go down in our personal history books—one that fits our love and adventure.

It was very us.

The hushed moments of conversation that recounted our story since 2016—we were reminiscing. And then we were there, in the marriage realm. Both of us stumbling into this moment and double- and triple-checking the realness as we sat holding hands in a quiet corner of a quaint little restaurant inside a historic Savannah home.

While this moment is my own to keep, I want to share some of my favorite photographs documenting this incredibly special period of my and TK’s life.

Cheers to love and the unplanned adventures it brings in all of our lives.

Vibes & History

Our celebratory weekend was filled with wonder, nature & historic monuments.

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: That word is love.
